The source also adds the following information regarding the method of calculating the data: "Jobs are calculated from production using ratios from annual business surveys for the years 2006 to 2007 and from 2009 data. the Esane system for drawing up INSEE annual business statistics at the most detailed level. These are direct jobs, that is to say within the scope of activity, defined for each market in full-time equivalents. Neither indirect jobs, let alone induced jobs, are counted. For a given activity, indirect jobs are jobs related to intermediate consumption of this activity. The induced jobs are the jobs that result from the impact of the income distributed by the direct and indirect activities, on the consumption or the investment of the various categories of agents. "
