This statistic presents the companies with the highest current liquidity ratio in Brazil in 2017. The source calculated this ratio dividing each company's current liquid assets (including cash equivalents and accounts receivables) by their total liabilities. That year, the textile company Grendene led the ranking with a current liquidity ratio of 8.6, followed by the fuel distributor Ruff, with a ratio of 4.36.

According to Investopedia: "A company’s liquidity is its ability to meet its short-term financial obligations. Liquidity ratios attempt to measure a company's ability to pay off its short-term debt obligations. This is done by comparing a company's most liquid assets, those that can be easily converted to cash, with its short-term liabilities."
