In 2018, the largest fashion companies for women's outwear in Italy were Prada and OVS. According to the data provided by Competitive Data, Prada's sales revenues amounted to over 1.7 billion euros. OVS S.p.A. was the second leading company for women's outerwear, with domestic sales revenues adding up to almost 1.5 billion euros. Giorgio Armani S.p.A. followed in the ranking, with approximately 1.4 billion euros.
Among the brands controlled by the Italian fashion company Prada Group, the Prada brand originated the highest amount of sales worldwide. Miu Miu was the second most profitable brand among those controlled by Prada Group.
