Brazil: share of vegetarians 2012-2018

A 2018 survey revealed that 14 percent of Brazilian respondents identified as vegetarians. The share has almost doubled compared to 2012, when only eight percent of the people surveyed answered they were vegetarians. In contrast, the share of people who followed a vegetarian diet in Latin America was estimated at eight percent.
