France: reasons to waste fresh dairy products 2020

Food waste is a serious economic, environmental and social challenge all over the world. In 2020, 33 percent of French people found it harder to reduce their food waste of fresh dairy products because they were not consuming them on a daily basis. Another common (26 percent) reason is the assumption that these products present a bigger health risk when expired.
