In a survey conducted in 2019 throughout Southeast Asia, 58 percent of the surveyed consumers stated that they would make the shift from traditional banks to non-banks, as their current bank does not advise them correctly on their product needs. Comparatively, for the same survey 22 percent of the surveyed consumers stated they would leave traditional banks in favor of non-banks, as their service is unsatisfactory when it comes to making queries or transactions.
