Colombia: household expenditure on restaurants and hotels 2016-2020
The expenditure of Colombian households on restaurants and hotels during the second quarter of 2020 dropped by more than 45 percent in relation to the previous quarter, amounting to less than nine trillion Colombian pesos. In comparison to the same quarter of the previous year, the decline surpassed 50 percent. In the last quarters of 2019, the South American country had surpassed the 18 trillion pesos mark in accommodation and foodservices household expenditure.
