Opinions on main causes of climate change in African countries 2016-2018
In a study conducted between 2016 and 2018, five in 10 Africans considered that human activity was the main cause of climate change. On the contrary, 27 percent of the respondents from 33 African countries declared that climate change was a natural process. People from Gabon, Guinea, and Tanzania were more likely to affirm that human activity is the main cause of climate change, while less than 30 percent of the respondents from Niger and Mozambique believed the same.
