JAXA's income FY 2022, by segment
In the fiscal year 2022, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) reported the income for its space projects segment, amounting to approximately 167.8 billion Japanese yen. The segment comprises satellite-related operations (positioning, remote sensing, telecommunication, basic technology), space transportation systems, space science and exploration, and human space activities. JAXA is a National Research and Development Agency of Japan engaged in basic aerospace R&D and utilization. It developed, for example, the largest experiment module on the International Space Station (ISS), called Kibo.
