U.S. teens: views on free speech online over welcoming online environments 2022
According to a 2022 survey, 62 percent of teens in the United States felt that people being able to feel welcome and safe online was more important than people being able to speak their minds freely. The remaining 38 percent of U.S. teens state that speaking freely online was more important than welcoming environments.
