U.S. consumers use of social media services in the past week 2022, by age group
According to a survey conducted in the United States in December 2022, 84 percent of respondents aged 13 to 24 years had used YouTube in the past seven days, whilst 81 percent of those aged 35 and older had. Half of respondents over the age of 35 had used Facebook in the previous week. Following YouTube, Instagram and TikTok were the most popular platforms among younger U.S. consumers, with approximately 65 percent of respondents aged 13 to 34 years having used these platforms in the previous seven days.
