Goods exports from SEZs in India FY 2023, by key zones
During the financial year 2023, the special economic zones (SEZs) in India had a goods export value of around 61 billion U.S. dollars. Kandla SEZ had the highest export value of around 38 billion U.S. dollars accounting for 63 percent of the export value among key SEZ zones in the country. SEZs are geographical areas demarcated to attract foreign investments and propel economic activity, with better infrastructural support from central and state governments.
