This statistic presents the assets of foreign-controlled banking group subsidiaries and branches in all countries of the Euro area from 2008 to 2016. The assets noted a general decline during this time. In 2016 the assets in all the countries of the Euro area amounted to approximately 3.73 trillion euros.
