Inbound tourism volume during Trinidad & Tobago Carnival 2010-2023
The Trinidad and Tobago Carnival is a two-day event held before the beginning of Lent. However, several festivities also take place during the weeks before those main carnival days. In 2023, the Caribbean country's carnival attracted more than 27 thousand visitors during that period, which represents an increase of almost 215 percent versus 2022. In 2021, these festivities were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
