Hong Kong: money given in each hongbao during Chinese New Year 2019

This statistic shows the results of a survey about giving out hongbao during the Spring Festival in Hong Kong in 2018 and 2019. During the survey period in 2019, around 73 percent of respondents in Hong Kong stated that they would put between 16 and 80 Hong Kong dollars in each hongbao during the Spring Festival of 2019.
