Comic readers who had consumed a comic illegally South Korea 2023, by age group
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, around 51 percent of respondents in their thirties stated that they had read a comic illegally within the last year. They were the age group with the smallest share of people who had done so, with figures reaching up to over 72 percent among people in their sixties. Illegal accessing of comics had decreased across most age groups, resulting in an overall average of 61.3 percent of comic readers having done so over the past year.
