Book readership in Sweden 2009-2022

A survey from 2022 found that 78 percent of Swedish respondents reported having read a book at least once over the past year. This was the lowest recorded since 2010, although it is clear that the vast majority of Swedes still engage with books despite the many other alternative media activities now available.
