This statistic shows the results of a survey on preferred reading methods among women in Finland in 2017. 77 percent of the respondents stated that they only read print books. Compared to print books, e-books were read more seldom. Three percent of the women read print and electronic versions equally while the corresponding figure for women solely reading e-books was two percent.
According to a survey, the most popular fiction book genres among women in Finland in 2017 were thriller and romance. Female non-fiction readers, on the other hand, were particularly into hobby and health-related topics as well as biographies.
