Mexico: production of vanilla 2016-2030
In 2030, the production of vanilla in Mexico is expected to reach 856.7 metric tons, an increase of around 67 percent compared to the quantity of vanilla produced in 2016, which amounted to 512.78 metric tons. Mexico exports only a small share of its vanilla production. The species of vanilla mostly used for flavoring are native to Mexico and Central America.
