Get in touch with us nowIn the Norwegian municipal elections (kommunevalg) in September, 2023, Høyre (Conservative Party) gained the highest share of the votes with a total of nearly 26 percent. In second place came Arbeiderpartiet (Labour Party) with short of 22 percent of the total votes. Right-wing populists Fremskrittspartiet (Progress Party) ranked third with an election result of 11 percent. Firthermore, other parties received a total of nearly 10 percent of the votes. The attendance percent in the election was 62.4 percent. Norwegian local elections are held every four years; the local and regional elections are held on the same day.
