U.S. consumers' willingness to pay for environmentally safe home furnishings 2019
In 2019, 24 percent of consumers in the United States stated that they are not willing to pay more for environmentally-friendly home furnishings. 76 percent of home furnishing consumers stated otherwise, with 31 percent willing to pay up to 5 percent more for home furnishings that were certified to be legitimately environmentally safe and had a style they liked.
