Taiwan: frequency of drinking functional beverages 2019

According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in November 2019, around 25 percent of respondents in Taiwan who had tried functional beverages said that they consumed those types of beverages several times a month. Meanwhile, seven percent consumed such drinks daily.

Functional beverages described in other questions of the survey included energy-boosting drinks, fermented/probiotic drinks, low-calorie drinks, drinks promoting beauty/brain performance/health, functional water, "detox" drinks, etc.

Among a total of 8,011 survey respondents in Taiwan, 6,909 said they had tried functional beverages.
