Average spending on health in Poland 2020
Assuming the estimated number of households in Poland in 2018 to be about 14.5 million - Poles spent a total of over eight billion zloty on health treatment from their pocket in the last month (survey conducted in February 2020). Almost half of this amount was spent on drugs and supplements (3.96 billion zloty). Expenditure on medical and specialist advice amounted to about 4.11 billion zloty.
