Latin America: share of imports from China 2020, by country
In 2020, imports from China accounted for approximately 29.5 percent of Nicaragua's total imports, while for Paraguay and Chile the value share was about 28.6 percent and 27.8 percent, respectively. In comparison, for Costa Rica, Brazil, El Salvador, and Mexico the share of Chinese imports amounted to less than 15 percent of the total imported value.
