Brazil: changes in delivery app downloads due to COVID-19 2020

After the outbreak of COVID-19 in Brazil, during the first 16 days of March 2020, the number of delivery app downloads increased by 15 percent compared to the same period in March 2019. On March 6, 2020 alone, downloads of delivery apps in the South American country increased by 126 percent compared to March 6, 2019.
