Consumption volume of PVC compound in India FY 2012-2021

In the financial year of 2019, the total consumption volume of PVC compounds across India was a negative 7.7 thousand metric tons, signifying greater exports than domestic production and imports cpmbined. There was a continuous decrease in this volume, since financial year 2017. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is derived from naphtha and is composed of industrial grade salt of chlorine.
