In a survey conducted in 2020 to analyze the changing consumer sentiments concerning the COVID-19 pandemic in India, over 40 percent of the consumers between the age of 41 to 50 years were willing to pay more than five thousand rupees for furniture and electronics. It was the highest share recorded among all the age groups. The respondents were more inclined to pay high sums of money for furniture and electronics compared to any other product category.
