Top-grossing mobile RPGs worldwide 2021

Mobile gaming title Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds was released in June 2021 and instantly became a smash hit, grossing over 100 million U.S. dollars in player spending during its first 11 days of release, making it one of the fastest games to do so. This is particularly notable as the game is currently only available in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The mobile RPG is based on a series of role-playing games in a distinctive anime style which closely resembles Studio Ghibli movies. All of the other top-grossing RPG apps during the measured period were also published by Asian companies.
