Share of life insurance clients in France 2013-2020, by group of age
French people aged 18 to 62 years represented the core clientele of life insurance companies in 2013, as this age group represented over 50 percent of life insurance clients. However, seven years later, this figure had decreased to 46 percent. In the meantime, the share of those older than 62 years had leaped from around 25 percent in 2013 to almost 40 percent in 2020.
