According to a survey conducted in August 2020 in Japan, the leading reason among women for doing skincare less frequently following the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) was that the frequency of going out declined. While more than 47 percent spent less time on skincare because they left the house less frequently, only 9.6 percent named the change to remote work as a reason.
