Pupil-teacher ratio in primary education in Africa 2018, by country
According to the latest available data, the pupil-to-teacher ratio in primary education in the Central African Republic stood at 83.41 as of 2016. Rwanda and Malawi also had a relatively low number of teachers in proportion to the number of students, with ratios of around 59.5 and 58.7 as of 2018, respectively. On the other hand, primary schools in Seychelles had around 14.5 pupils per teacher as of 2018.
