Africa: off-grid solar lighting products sales 2021

The sales volume of off-grid solar lighting products in East Africa amounted to nearly two billion units in the first half of 2021, the highest volume among the observed African regions. In West Africa and Central Africa, sales of lanterns, multi-light systems, and solar home systems totaled 477,000 and 173,000 units, respectively.
