According to a survey carried out in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany in June 2023, a total of about half of the respondents in the United Kingdom and the United States stated that they either strongly agree or somewhat agree that hyper-processed foods* have a negative impact on health. By comparison, the share of respondents in Germany who agreed with this statement is approximately 39 percent.
