U.S. imports of cobalt had a total value of 439 million U.S. dollars in 2020. Of that amount, cobalt in the form of metal accounted for the highest import value, at 323 million U.S. dollars. Cobalt oxides and hydroxides were the second-largest import category, accounting for 74.7 million U.S. dollars in imports that year.
