This statistic presents the share of adults donating money to sectors represented within the UK government's Department of Culture, Media and Sport in England, between 2012 and 2020, by tenure. The department is responsible for a number of sectors in England including the arts, heritage, museums, libraries, archives and sports. Of respondents to the 2019/20 survey, approximately 39 percent of homeowners and 28 percent of those renting in the private rented sector had donated money to a DCMS sector in the last year. The share of those renting in the social rented sector was slightly lower in each survey period.
