Italy: distribution online sales Italian apparel websites 2016, by type of customer
This statistic illustrates the distribution of the online sales of Italian clothing websites in the year 2016, broken down by type of customer. As of the survey period, the more than half of the online sales value of Italian apparel websites was generated by Italian customers (55 percent) rather than foreign shoppers. It is worth to be noticed that among foreign shoppers most of the sales stem from the luxury segment of the fashion industry.
