This statistic illustrates the share of landline phone use to call in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017, by type of call. The highest share of respondents, which corresponded to 50 percent, used landline phones to make long phone calls, whereas 45 percent used landlines to make calls regarding personal appointments.
