This statistic illustrates the results of a survey investigating the opinion of Italians on the new regulation which will allow breed and eat insect in Italy as of 2018, broken down by gender. In 2017, most of the respondents admitted to be against the introduction of this new regulation: 45 percent of male respondents and 63 percent of female respondents. Overall, male were more open-minded toward this new regulation than women.
