This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked what their response would be if the price of a premium brand that they were thinking of purchasing next year went up by more than 10 percent. The majority of respondents (61.5 percent) said they would buy the product anyway, while 13.7 percent said they would change their normal brand to a less expensive one. Only 5.9 percent of those surveyed claimed that they would not buy the item at all.
