Child health responsibilities among mothers the U.S. as of 2020
According to the 2020 survey, the majority of women with children under 18 years had the sole responsibility of their child's health whether it was decision making or missing work due to child's sickness. In addition, roughly a quarter of mothers stated they shared this responsibility equally with their partner. This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. mothers who stated they themselves, their partners, or both had select responsibilities regarding their child's health as of 2020.
