Associations with the taste of insects in the Netherlands 2019

As of 2019, a sizable share of consumers surveyed in the Netherlands were neither enthusiastic nor disgusted when they thought about the taste of insects. Approximately one third of people surveyed had a neutral response when asked to consider what insects would taste like, while over 60 percent of respondents found the thought repulsive.
