This statistic depicts the results of the Eurobarometer survey carried out in Italy as of 2019. During the survey, respondents were asked whether they agreed or disagreed with the statement that more public financial support should be given in order to facilitate the transition to clean energies even if this leads to a reduction in the number of fossil fuel subsidies. As of the survey period, 42 percent of respondents have totally agreed with the statement, whereas only one percent of them totally disagreed.
