Video ad types with the most influence on buying decision process in the U.S. 2023
During an early 2023 survey among adults in the United States, over half (53 percent) of respondents said ads on TV were the type of commercial with the most influence on what they bought, where they ate and shopped, or the movies and TV shows they watched. That category included ad-supported streaming services. Social media video ads and ads on free video websites followed, mentioned by 26 and 21 percent of respondents, respectively.
