According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, a majority of responding video game developers and publishers across all platforms stated that they were currently not in the process of implementing any web 3.0 technologies in their games. Among those being implemented, virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technologies were the most common across all platforms. 76 percent of mobile game companies were currently not introducing any web 3.0 features, compared to 5 percent of PC game companies.
