Road fatality: a road user whose death is the result of an accident on the public road, connected to the traffic, involving at least one moving vehicle. The number includes both residents and non-residents. Not counted as road fatalities are those accidents occurring on other places than the public road, deaths occurring 30 days or more after the accident, or when the deceased is counted as suicide or murder victim.
