This statistic displays the share of energy production from natural gas of some of the world's largest energy companies in 2000 and 2015. In 2000, some 37 percent Royal Dutch Shell's total energy production was attributable to natural gas. Fifteen years later, in 2015, that figure had risen to some 49 percent.
