Amid the global COVID-19 crisis, the market capitalization of chemical companies worldwide has decreased considerably. Between January and June 2020, the market capitalization of the largest public petrochemical companies declined by nearly 20 percent, while agricultural chemicals companies had their worth lowered by 6.3 percent.
