Methodology: The ”Best UK Employers” have been selected based on an independent survey from a vast sample of 15,000 UK employees working for firms or institutions with more than 500 employees in the UK. The employees have been consulted anonymously through several online panels which enabled the employee to openly state his/her opinion, thus avoiding any influence from the employer. The survey has been conducted on companies from all industry sectors employing more than 500 employees in the United Kingdom. The recommended employers have been grouped into one or more of the 24 industry sectors. Companies operating in finance or banking sectors, direct competitors of Bloomberg and companies involved in any way with weapons, gambling, tobacco and pornography have been excluded from the ranking.
