Prospect and develop business in the Latin American market for one of the leading online statistics portals worldwide. Facilitate full lifecycle sales through a variety of channels and tactics. Identify ideal B2B (business to business) clients and decision makers to engage with, and maintain relationships with, to actively find upselling opportunities for a subscription-based model. Use Statista expertise to conduct in depth demos of the platforms’ capabilities relative to the client’s needs. Statista.com consolidates statistical data on over 80,000 topics from more than 22,500 sources and makes it available on four platforms: German, English, French, and Spanish. \nWe are looking for two Key Account Specialists to do the following:\nImprove business efficiency. Identify defects or variations in operations processes from order formation to order fulfillment and drive out variations to meet the goals for timely order completion and limit overdue payments. Conduct necessary research in the Latin American market. Attend Latin American trade shows to understand the needs of that geographic sector and develop business to understand the shifts in price estimates, and what that sector is looking at. Conduct necessary research and observations through participation in Latin American market focused trade organizations, by reading trade journals and materials, and by developing contacts in that sector to understand customer aspirations, expectations, and discretionary spending for Information Services especially online databases. Analyze data to determine market size, market segregations, competitor size and overall market trends to provide insight to new business opportunities and market growth. Evaluate, analyze, and synthesize various macroeconomic data points pertaining to the Information Services industry especially online information databases to explain Statista’s business with existing customers and to penetrate new markets. Achieve this by performing industry research, conducting in-depth customer interviews, performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, performing analysis of client commerce content searches, and performing analysis of client purchase history. Devise a marketing and sales strategies to improve profitability. Devise coherent marketing strategies to reach Latin American FMCG and Tech companies to achieve sales goals. Use Salesforce cloud-based software. Develop marketing materials like brochures, point of purchase materials, and memos for Statista’s existing customers using Microsoft Officer PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Provide key data recommendations and reports necessary to support strategic planning, business planning, and business measurement activities.\n\n
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, or closely related major, or equivalent and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience marketing to Latin American customers; performing industry research; conducting in-depth customer interviews; performing qualitative and quantitative analysis; performing analysis of client commerce content searches; performing analysis of client purchase history; using Salesforce, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel and Word
