Your tasks

  • Build up the industry vertical "Academia" for the multiple markets in the Asia Pacific region
  • Acquiring new business and further developing our B2B client base in the Academia industry
  • Proactively develop sales opportunities within the industry and allocated territories
  • Consistently deliver individual sales targets every month
  • Meet clients & leads for presentations and actively seek commercial opportunities in your designated sales region (travel required)
  • Draft, conceptualize and share new sales campaigns and ideas within our growing team
  • Working with clients throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Establishing and maintaining a high sales call volume with Director, Vice President and C-Level executives

Your profile

  • 3 - 4 years minimum direct sales experience
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (preferably native speaker)
  • MUST-Have: outbound B2B direct sales experience / experience in acquiring new business
  • MUST-Have: Experience dealing with client from the Academic/Public sector
  • Extroverted and professional character with an ability to put yourself in your customers' shoes
  • Ability to negotiate on C- and Director-Level
  • Competitive, aggressive sales nature with a desire to win
  • Desire to be part of a rapidly expanding business
  • Ability to manage frequent telephone calls
  • Willingness to undertake business trips
